Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who had been the backbone of the NATO intervention in Libya against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, is expected Tuesday in Tripoli where he will meet Prime Minister Ali Zidan, according to a Libyan government source.
Sarkozy should make "a few hours visit to Libya where he will meet with members of the Libyan government," the source said on condition of anonymity, without giving further details on the program of the visit, reports the French news agency AFP.
